Great food and service. Craic ar dóigh! Some of the best dishes ran out this year so be early for lunch and dinner. Very busy the week we were there so we always booked our table in the morning. It's probably not always so very busy.

Such a sweet place, amazing view out over the mountains and beach. The food was on point, and staff were attentive but not in your face. We sat outside on the picnic bench, and for an extra tuch, they had blanket on all their seats. So cosy and welcoming. 10 out of 10

The place is wonderful! Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, cozy interior, very clean bathroom. Portions are generous and food is delicious, just what you need after a long walk. I would definitely go there again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY TRAVELER! We stopped here on day 3 our week-long bike tour of Donegal. This was my favorite restaurant of the entire trip. Staff were wonderful, food was great, prices were reasonable... what more could you want? Oh, and I forgot to mention the location. Superb. Great in any weather, but sitting outside on a sunny July day was pure bliss. The restaurant is attached to some sort of Irish language/culture centre. I wish I'd spent more time exploring the rest of the building. Next year. All four riders in our party are vegan, and An Chistin's did not disappoint. An entire vegan menu to choose from. Plus, the smoothies! Heaven.

On entry, greeted to be seated I addressed the server in Irish but was responded to in English only disappointingly. Food was lovely. Nice decor too and a popular place. Servers were all lovely (though again was disappointed by the lack of Irish - not even any Irish on the menu which was a shame. It’s beside a language school and in a Gaeltacht town… maybe it was an off day but I felt so disheartened). I’d go back but would really hope the owners would read this and support the language more

Lovely clean spot for a bite to eat. Plenty of selection on the menus Staff were all welcoming. Seats outside had blankets and sun umbrellas. Great views. Had the chowder which was tasty served with Irish bread and butter. Great cake menu and lovely coffees. Never seen carrageen moss on a menu before, but loved that it was in keeping with the sea and local ingredients.
